OneDayOneImage Returns to the Brooklyn Collective!
Gorgeous weather today in the lovely neighborhood of Red Hook and that's where I found myself setting up my wares at the Brooklyn Collective. This is my second time at one of the loveliest shops in the borough and I'm thrilled to join the marvelous group of current artists and designers. I hope to feature a few of them in this blog in the upcoming months gearing up to the holidays.
If you are in the Brooklyn area swing by to check out my selection of retro art photography cards, matted prints, canvases, throw pillows and more. I'll be adding new items and photos regularly. In addition to having a riotous time setting up my display, I also purchased a delicious lemon hand poured soy candle by Brooklyn Firefly. I never leave the shop empty handed.
All that was left was to take a turn around the neighborhood. I walked past Brooklyn Farmacy an authentic vintage soda fountain shop. I didn't have enough time to grab a meal there, as I already had plans for dinner, but judging by the goodies I saw in the menu and in the ice cream freezer, I might be spending a ridiculous amount of time there. Seriously, they had me at ice cream floats. There's an entire section in the menu dedicated to them!
A few blocks over, in Carroll Gardens, it was time for dinner at Zaytoons, the most scrumptious Middle Eastern food in Brooklyn.
